It's official: The Norman Foster Foundation will create a reconstruction plan for Kharkiv by the end of June

The charity organization Norman Foster Foundation, which the day before agreed to take part in the restoration of Kharkiv, is currently forming a corresponding commission of experts.

About this reported LIGA.net in the fund.

They explained that the creation of a committee of experts is necessary in order to develop the future vision of the Kharkiv master plan. When specialists form a single concept for the restoration of the city, it will become the starting point for further actions.

The commission of experts and the action plan for reconstruction are planned to be formed by the end of June 2022.

We will remind that the day before the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov asked Norman Foster to take part in the reconstruction of the city, to which the architect agreed.

During a meeting with representatives of local authorities, a well-known British specialist promised to bring together the best specialists in the field of planning, architecture, design and engineering for the revival of the city.

"We are working with local residents, people who understand the territory, to recreate the best of the past and project Kharkiv as a city of the future," Foster said during his speech at the UN.
