Germany is ready to help Ukraine in the reconstruction and restoration of monuments, in particular those that were damaged due to the barbaric actions of the country.

This was written by the head of the Lviv regional administration Maksym Kozytskyi on his Facebook.

According to him, during the meeting with the deputy of the German Bundestag, Marko Vanderwitz, the latter promised that Germany would participate in the reconstruction of the monuments.

"I spoke about the situation in Lviv Oblast, in particular about the objects that were destroyed by Russian missile strikes. Among them were monuments of history and culture, for example, the Zolochiv Castle, which was damaged by the blast wave. It was promptly restored. But it is obvious that the occupying army will continue to encroach on our possessions, so everything must be done to protect them. And if the worst happens, quickly recover. It is important that this be done by specialists," Kozytskyi said.

The official and the deputy agreed to work out a joint program for carrying out restoration works.
