"No construction": a landscape reserve will be created in Irpen

This decision was supported by the director of the Kyiv ecological and cultural center Volodymyr Boreyko, the head of the environmental commission of the Kyiv regional council Roman Tytykalo, the head of the Irpen Investment Council Volodymyr Karplyuk, the deputies of the city council together with activists and the public.

The creation of a landscape reserve will mean that there will be no construction on the territory of the protected zone (50 meters from the river). The ecological condition of the river will also be taken under protection.

The implementation of the project will be discussed during the arrival of representatives of the American architectural company Genser. The company has been helping with the reconstruction of Irpen for half a year, in particular, it is currently developing a city plan, where one of the main points is the Irpen River.
