According to her, the result of the start of the partnership in the near future will be the strengthening of cooperation on the basis of the EU.
We are talking about the improvement of Ukrainian legislative norms according to EU requirements, the recognition in Europe of certificates and diplomas of the Ukrainian model, cooperation with leading European architectural firms, as well as the protection of cultural heritage.
"We are also waiting for the harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards. For example, we need advisory assistance in bringing it into compliance with the 2015 European directive on public procurement in relation to architectural competitions," the NSAU vice-president summarized.

In addition, the agreement on membership in the RAE will provide for assistance in the reconstruction of Ukraine after the end of the war. In the future, partner members will develop a plan for the reconstruction program of Ukrainian cities.
"It is important that aid is provided in full compliance with EU policies and procedures. This will give more confidence to private investors. For coordination, a separate agency or commission can be created that will manage aid and reconstruction programs - independent, but accountable to multilateral, bilateral and non-governmental donors," Olena Oliynyk emphasized.

It is worth noting that the Council of Architects of Europe was founded in 1990. It was formed as a result of the merger of two organizations - the Communication Committee of Architects of the United Europe and the Council of European Architects.
During the whole time, the organization comprehensively supported the development of architectural activities of 44 organizations - its members. When a large-scale war broke out in Ukraine, RAE took a number of measures to help the affected architectural community. In particular, it is about temporary education of students, employment, accommodation of forced migrants, financial assistance, etc.
