About this reported the KMDA
"The street has become more convenient and safer. At pedestrian crossings, anti-pockets have appeared, which widen the sidewalk, and so that drivers do not park their cars on the sidewalks, about 500 bollards have been installed," the publication says.
In addition to the bicycle path, 11 bicycle parking spaces were installed on the street.
They also note that a ramp has been built for people with disabilities and parents with baby carriages at the intersection of Ivan Franko and Vyacheslav Lipinskyi streets, and tactile tiles and guides have been installed on the sidewalks. Bright landmark strips were used in the marking of pedestrian crossings.
During the renovation, the stairs to Yaroslaviv Val Street were renewed, and lawns and about 30 adult plane trees were planted along the entire length of the street.
