In Vinnytsia, the restoration of a church over a hundred years old has been completed

Repair works were carried out within the framework of the "Comfortable Communities" competition.

In the village of Zaozerne, in Vinnytsia region, completed repair works of the St. Nicholas Church. Here, the wooden facade of the building was restored, including all architectural elements.

The total cost of the project was UAH 290, of which the regional budget was UAH 100. The Haysyn District Council, a number of public, charitable organizations and business structures also joined the co-financing.

The St. Nicholas Church was built in 1899. The facade of the building was in poor condition for a considerable period - the wooden walls rotted and became rotten in places.

The restoration of the building was carried out within the framework of the "Comfortable Communities" competition, which is aimed at the development of cultural, sports and tourist infrastructure in the territorial communities of Vinnytsia. It also provides for the introduction of modern digital technologies and solutions to increase the level of safety and well-being of community residents.
