"We are working to open eco-trails on Trukhanovo Island in the spring for active recreation of Kyiv residents and guests of the capital. Visitors will find two marked routes of 10 and 14 kilometers long for Nordic walking, running or mountain biking.
There will also be several spectacular photo zones (get ready to take cool selfies!) and comfortable rest areas. In addition, the routes will provide for the presence of public toilets, medical aid points and municipal security at the start and finish line," the official said.
Currently, utility workers are working to ensure that there are no difficult obstacles in the way of visitors, and that the routes themselves are convenient for navigation.
Soon they plan to open a test opening of routes.
