"The external appearance of all buildings will correspond to the general imperial concept: pseudo-Byzantine stylistics in a "new" reading, using "modern" technologies and materials. The project is overseen by the Patriarchal Council for Culture, the work is being carried out on the instructions of the President of Russia, with the financial and organizational support of the "My Story" foundation, the message says.

Olga Rutkovska, a member of the Ukrainian National Committee of ICOMOS, notes that Chersonesus Tavriyskyi was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site on June 23, 2013 at the 37th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Cambodia. Chora, an agricultural district around Chersonesus, was also included in the list.

The Chersonese settlement is the only completely preserved example of an ancient city in the Northern Black Sea region, which existed from the XNUMXth century BC. to the XIV century AD Remains of urban planning of streets, residential, economic and cultural buildings have been preserved here.
