It is noted that three lower-incline escalators will be repaired. The work will be carried out alternately and around the clock so as not to completely stop their operation.
Overhaul involves complete disassembly of the escalators, dismantling the stairwell, handrails, gearboxes, traction chains, and other parts. Some elements are sent to workshops for inspection and repair, while others are restored directly at the station.

After diagnostics, serviceable parts are returned to service, and worn-out parts are replaced with new ones. Such repairs are carried out once every 10–12 years or after significant loads to ensure safe and stable operation of the equipment.
The metro also reminds passengers to follow the rules for using escalators, including holding on to the handrail, not going beyond the boundary line, not running up the stairs, and keeping an eye on their clothing and belongings to avoid injuries and equipment damage.
Let us remind you that in Kyiv's Nyvky set large supporting structures to prevent the collapse of the bridge, which cost 202 million hryvnias to repair.
