For this, on the GIZ procurement portal created a tender of five lots. The cost of each of them is more than 441 thousand hryvnias.
Planned investments will be directed to the development of bicycle infrastructure, improvement of traffic, improvement of public transport infrastructure, arrangement of safe intersections, pedestrian zones and transitions.

The project should improve urban spaces that are currently focused exclusively on cars. As their number increases, it causes an increase in carbon emissions, in particular, 93% of air pollution is caused by transport.
"The traffic lanes are much wider than the established standards. This leads to the fact that two cars can drive in the same lane in the same direction, to illegal parking or overtaking of public transport," the Urban Development Fund notes.

Reconstruction will be carried out on Lyubinska-Kulparkivska, Horodotska-Rudno, Varshavska-Chornovola streets, Sikhiv and Ryasne microdistricts.
Currently, within the co-financing of the city and GIZ in the Lviv Park named after Ivan Paul II is being equipped with bicycle and pedestrian paths. A 750 m long walking zone will connect Lisna and Hotkevicha streets.

It is also planned to arrange a lawn and install 53 lamps, 7 bicycle parking spaces, 30 trash cans and urns, 32 benches and 12 sunbeds. In addition, the territory will be equipped with 25 anti-parking bollards that will block the movement of cars through this area.
To date, contractors have completed 60% of the work. They plan to complete the arrangement of the park before the beginning of autumn.
