13 new nature reserves will appear in Kyiv region

The Kyiv Regional Council decided to expand the list of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of the Kyiv Region.

About this reported the press service of KOVA. The approximate area of ​​the newly created nature reserves reaches almost 527,2 hectares. In particular, it is about the creation of the following objects:

  • botanical natural attractions "Bohuslavskyi", "Lisova balka", "Huta" in Bilotserkivsky district, "Bila balka", "Bondary forest" in Obukhivskyi district and "Piskivsky dub" in Buchanskyi district;
  • landscape reserves "Synyavskyi", "Charivni luky" in Bilotserkivsky district and "Fairy Ravine" in Obukhivskyi district;
  • protected tract "Forest Fairytale" in Buchansky district;
  • "Lebedivskyi" park-monument of garden and park art in Buchansky district;
  • parks-sights of garden and park art "Park named after T. Shevchenko" and "Peremohy Park" in the Fastiv district".

It is noted that these areas are valuable, various species of plants and animals listed in the Red Book of Ukraine have been found on them. All objects will have a special security status.
