"The line is extremely productive, provides high seed germination with a closed root system. In one shift, the production can produce almost 300 units of cassettes with seedlings," Onyshchuk notes.

The official adds that thanks to such equipment, Ukraine will be able to receive up to 2 million seedlings per year.

"The survival rate of crops with a closed root system is 95%. The cost of a seedling is UAH 7-9. The opening of the plant for the cultivation of forest seedlings will ensure the creation of 25 new jobs," concludes the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.

By the way, the project is implemented within the framework of the "Green Ukraine" program.
