The architecture of 124 modular houses will add visual variety to the flat landscape of the site, where the US military barracks used to be located. The designer from MVRDV allows customers to choose the number of floors, the shape of the roof, the volume of glazing and more than 20 options for the design of facades. With such a wealth of choices, it is unlikely that two identical buildings will appear in the village, the designers are sure.
"Houses with green facades are offered to families who prefer eco-style," says MVRDV. - Bright colors and ornaments will be chosen by people who claim originality, and facades in which traditional materials - wood or stone - will prevail, will give the buildings a more restrained look."
The master plan of the village is a "patchwork quilt" with an optimal alternation of architecture, open spaces, gardens, sports fields and play areas. The presence of underground parking makes it possible to make the settlement completely pedestrian and barrier-free.

In the village of Traumhaus Funari, the construction of two apartment buildings with specialized layouts is planned - small apartments for students and apartments for people with special needs.
Moving away from standardization in design, the developers tried to make the project itself universal - MVRDV is confident that this matrix, into which all the most modern construction and planning innovative solutions are sewn, can be used in almost any country in the world. At least, this is a more modern look at our suburbs.
