The City Hall of Riga presented a new interactive tool called "Heat Map", which shows detailed information about the energy efficiency of individual residential buildings in the territory of the Latvian capital.

Thanks to the new tool, residents of the city can review the thermal energy consumption of their apartment building over the past 12 months and compare their apartment with other similar buildings in Riga. write The Major.

The data collected over the past three years actually classifies buildings into different categories, giving a good indication of whether the structure may need energy improvements.

The map helps residents make decisions about building renovation investments and understand the potential economic benefits of such improvements.
