In connection with the intensification of massive attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine by Russian troops, the Ministry of Energy issued a call not to disclose information about the state of energy facilities.

Ministry calls in particular

  • Do not publish photos, videos or any data about the consequences of blows;
  • Not to disclose information about objects of attack, damage, hit or recovery;
  • Do not discuss possible hits, energy maps, or the state of objects.

These rules apply to everyone: authorities, enterprises, media representatives, Telegram channels, social networks and every citizen.

The agency emphasizes that the disclosure of such information exposes the country to serious danger, because the enemy uses this data to coordinate new attacks.

"The Ministry provides minimum necessary information for security reasons. "Energy workers are doing everything possible to keep the system stable and return the light to Ukrainians," the message reads.

It should be noted that from November 18, measures to limit consumption began to be applied in all regions. As reported by Ukrenergo, from 6:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m., two queues of shutdowns will operate simultaneously.
