Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko responded to the petition, which garnered 7227 votes out of the 6000 required. A previous petition with similar demands was rejected, but the people of Kyiv did not back down from their intentions.
The mayor entrusted the consideration of the petition to the Deputy Chairman of the KMDA Petro Panteleev, the Director of the Department of Transport of the KMDA Ruslan Kandybor and the permanent commission on transport, communication and advertising, which should process it by the end of March.
We will remind you that the decision to stop all city transport of Kyiv during an air alert accepted on August 1, 2022. Passengers must leave the cabin and head for shelter.
