Designer and creative director of Louis Vuitton Nicolas Ghesquière presented his fall-winter 2026 clothing collection, where he used the works of Ukrainian artist Nazar Strelyaev-Nazarko.

About this artist Told me on his Instagram page.

“My warmest thanks to Nicolas Ghesquière and Florent Buono for your trust and generosity, as well as for inviting me to join the process of creating this beautiful collection. It was a real pleasure to see my work through your vision and from a completely new perspective,” the artist noted.

The prints in the new Louis Vuitton collection were inspired by motifs from Nazar's Paramnesia 2023 work. The image is slightly modified. In the original version, the lamb is wearing ordinary country boots, while in the catwalk version, it is already wearing luxury boots with the LV monogram.

Designer Nicolas Ghesquière turned to traditional elements characteristic of people living in the highlands when creating the collection, including fluffy capes, bells, sheepskin hats, and coarse felt clothing.

In this way, he sought to show common features in the culture and everyday life of people living in difficult natural conditions — from the Alps to the Andes or Nepal.

The show took place within the walls of the Louvre, and the set design was created by the production designer of the series “Severance” Jeremy Hindle, who designed the podium in the form of a futuristic landscape of pyramidal shapes covered in moss.

Let us remind you that the decorations for the Dior Couture AW 2022-2023 fashion show created by a Ukrainian artist Olesya Trofymenko.
