In order to reduce the impact on the environment, the company did not limit itself to the installation of solar panels. Lightyear 0 was also designed with environmental considerations in mind.

The salon is made of leather of plant origin, fabric from recycled plastic bottles and wooden decor elements made from rattan palm. Also, the external panels of the electric car were created from recycled materials, in particular carbon fiber.

According to the developers, depending on the climate, the Lightyear 0 can “drive between 6 and 000 kilometers of free, easy and clean mileage every year”, and the solar panels installed on the roof and hood with a total area of 11 m² provide an additional 000 kilometers of mileage per day.
