The Ukrainian company woo presented the Play chair at the Maison&Objet Paris exhibition, which took place in the capital of France from September 8 to 12.
"Play has an unusual shape, assembled from several geometric elements. A detail resembling a bagel serves as a back. Our designer Dmytro Kozinenko got in touch with his inner child to create something so emotional, sincere and playful," woo representatives say.
This form of the developer was inspired by a children's toy, where the participants must accurately throw a ring so that it catches on a vertical bar, as well as a puzzle in which several rings are connected, and the player must find the right angle to separate them.
Armchair materials: plywood frame, polyurethane foam, textile upholstery.
Woo is a furniture design company that has been creating and manufacturing objects of laconic sculptural forms for six years. At the Maison&Objet exhibition in Paris, the manufacturer presented four products from the famous Ukrainian designer Dmytro Kozinenko.
The Ukrainian stand at Maison&Objet was set up with the support of the EBRD and US funding within the framework of the EBRD Small Business Promotion Fund.
