Japan is ready to provide Ukraine with equipment for the restoration of energy facilities

About this reported the Economic truth with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy. 

The aid became known after the talks between the Minister of Energy Herman Hlushchenko and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori, during which they discussed the damaged energy infrastructure as a result of Russian shelling, ways to restore it and options for providing Ukraine with energy carriers during the heating season.

"Special attention was paid at the meeting to the readiness of the Japanese side to help with the restoration of critical infrastructure objects of Ukraine damaged or destroyed by hostilities, in particular, by providing the necessary equipment and facilities," the representatives of the Ministry of Energy note. 

Projects for the restoration of Ukrainian energy facilities will be implemented thanks to cooperation with the Japanese international cooperation agency JICA.
