It is worth noting that the building in which the hotel is planned was built in 1882 according to the project of Emanuel Hall. It is a local architectural monument in the style of historicism. After its construction, the building served as a hotel for about 20 years, where Lesya Ukrainka once stayed.

In 1910, Edmund Zhykhovych's firm reconstructed the building and built a cafe on the second floor with a balcony along the facade. In Soviet times, the first floor housed the popular cafe "Lvivyanka". After the last reconstruction of the building in 1990-1992, it became part of the Grand Hotel hotel and restaurant complex.
