The day before, the Irish company for the production of thermal insulation and building materials Kingspan announced its intention to create a campus of construction technologies in Ukraine.

Now it became known that it will be built in the Lviv region, reported in the local OVA. Kingspan invests 200 million euros in new production and plans to provide about 600 jobs.

The developer plans to build 5-6 plants, for which they are currently looking for a 40-50 hectare site. Mineral wool production will be set up on the selected territory, which requires nearby access to significant reserves of renewable energy.

In addition, the site must have access to the water supply, gas pipeline, main highway and railway network. Land can be in both communal and private ownership. As for the location, it should be in the west of the region, near the border.
