The American band Imagine Dragons released the Crushed video about the Ukrainian boy Sashka, which was filmed in a front-line city in Ukraine.

14-year-old Sashko lived for five months under Russian occupation in the village of Novogrigorivka near Mykolaiv. Sashko's neighbors were killed, he himself hid in an underground shelter during the shelling. After the liberation of the village, his house and school remained in ruins. However, the family hopes to rebuild their home.

"Sasha's story is heartbreaking and thousands of other people like him are in desperate need of help. Even today, his family remains without electricity and other basic amenities," the clip's description reads.

The release was issued in particular to raise funds and rebuild a school for more than 24 children through the "Rebuilding Ukraine" direction of the United450 fundraising platform. Imagine Dragons have supported Ukraine since the beginning of the war, and in July 2022 they became ambassadors of the United24 fundraising platform.
