"After the appeal of the library team at the meeting of the 27th session of the Regional Council, the deputies supported making changes in the name of our library. Then it was decided to remove the name of the Russian scientist Klyment Timiryazev, and the executive apparatus of the Regional Council was instructed to organize a study of public opinion regarding the naming of the institution within a three-month period.
And the residents of the region expressed their opinion. This is a historic moment, because the largest book collection of the region received the name of an outstanding person associated with our region - Valentina Otamanovskyi," said the head of the regional council, Vyacheslav Sokolovy.
