The small Canadian town of Picton collected $102 (2,8 million hryvnias), which will be used to restore a school in the Kyiv region.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv informed about this.

"102 Canadian dollars or almost 000 million hryvnias. the community of this town gathered to support Ukraine, in particular for the restoration of the school and the purchase of medical equipment," the ambassador said.

According to the Kovals, this is already the second major fundraising campaign that has been held in Picton.
