The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet, write Public with reference to the rector of the university Mykola Trofymenko.
Currently, students from Mariupol have already been allocated "a comfortable building in the center of Kyiv, places in a dormitory, they have been given the opportunity to use the sports base, all infrastructure facilities of the KNUBA".
"We will create the front office of the university, gather all our structures in Kyiv, and from one place we will fully do what we are currently doing in various cities of the country," said the head of Mariupol University.

Until the end of the academic year, classes at the university will be conducted remotely. It is known that approximately 80% of employees have already left and are ready to resume the educational process. However, 4 teachers died, and the fate of another 40 is unknown.
According to Mykola Trofymenko, the premises of the higher education institution in Mariupol were completely destroyed.
"They were hit with all kinds of weapons. Some of the premises have been burned, some have collapsed. What was more or less whole is systematically looted. All our hulls have been refurbished. A cozy campus, a botanical garden, a powerful library - all this is not there," he says.

In order to restore the higher educational institution after the end of the war, they plan to create a special fund.
"We are determined to register the recovery and assistance fund of Mariupol University. Because we will need to rebuild it, we will prepare to return to Mariupol. It is a feat that our colleagues managed to survive, leave and unanimously expressed their opinion on continuing to work in Kyiv in order to preserve the university. We are now proving that the main thing is not the walls, but the people," emphasizes the rector of Mariupol University.

By the way, another Mariupol university will continue its work - the Azov State Technical University. It is temporary will be located in Dnipro on the basis of Dnipro Polytechnic.
