Fashion and furniture: Vozianov and Manako presented the new One pattern project in Milan

/ Design /

Vozianov clothing brand and Manako Design object design studio presented the interdisciplinary project One pattern at the international exhibition Milan Design Week 2019.

Ukrainian designers Fedor Vozianov and Anna Manakova decided to experiment at the junction of two industries and show how one form can simultaneously be the basis of the silhouette of clothing and the construction of furniture. The simplest shapes were taken as a basis - a circle, an oval, a rectangle.

"One pattern is a story about the self-sufficiency of simple forms, about the intersection of fashion and object design, about individuality and the aesthetics of minimalism", - this is how the authors describe their concept.
