Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the building of the Lukyanivska metro station has been damaged seven times. The last time was on July 21, 2025. The facade, entrance group, stained glass windows, glazing of light lanterns, as well as interior decoration and engineering networks were destroyed.

Currently, only exit 1 from Yuriy Ilyenko Street, where McDrive operates, is open at the station. Thousands of passengers are forced to walk to the metro through a narrow passage past cars every day,

We remind you that the NGO “Passengers of Kyiv” turned to the management of the Kyiv Metro with a demand to repair and open the second entrance from the Lukyanivska metro station towards the Kvadrat shopping center as soon as possible.
