Two Schindler model trams, donated by the canton of Basel-Land, have arrived in Lviv.

Thanks to the presence of a low-floor section, these cars significantly increase the comfort and accessibility of transportation, said press service of the Lviv City Council.

“Our passengers already have the opportunity to use such trams on the 9th route. The carriages are long, spacious and comfortable. By the way, convenient boarding for people with limited mobility in these trams is through the third door, not the second. Therefore, we ask passengers to be attentive and help those for whom this information is important during boarding,” the Lvivelectrotrans LPE notes.

In total, Lviv has already received 19 three-section (long) and 7 two-section (short) cars of this model. Today, 6 trams are already running on route No. 9, and almost 20 Lvivelectrotrans drivers have mastered driving this vehicle.
