The first batch of metro cars from Warsaw arrived in Kyiv

The first subway cars have arrived in Kyiv as aid from the Warsaw Metro.

About this reports the Polish publication Raport Kolejowy.

Thanks to the cooperation of the Warsaw Metro and the International Association of Public Transport, 60 carriages will be delivered to the capital of Ukraine for free.

The first wagons from this batch were spotted on the streets of Kyiv on April 30.

Some of them will be used for passenger transportation, and some will be used as spare parts for repairing the existing rolling stock.

We remind you that January 11 this year was held Vitaliy Klitschko's meeting with the mayors of four European capitals - Warsaw, Prague, Budapest and Bratislava - during which it was agreed on the transfer of 60 wagons to Ukraine by the Polish capital.
