The city is planning to build a new residential complex for those who were left homeless due to the war. It will be designed for 900-1000 apartments.

About this reports informed Oleksandr Pavlyuk, head of the Kyiv OVA.

He noted that during the construction of new buildings, they will focus on creating barrier-free conditions and energy saving. Also, all houses must have equipped shelters.

According to the project proposal developed in OVA, the new houses will have four and five floors. Thanks to the construction of this complex, more than 900-1000 families will receive permanent housing.

At the moment, they are developing a scheme of the master plan of the development. A similar project will also start in Borodyanka.

At the same time, the mayor of Irpen, Oleksandr Markushyn, announced a new project, according to which "Ukrzaliznytsia" will allocate wagons that will serve as temporary housing for local residents.

According to the head of the city, they will have all the necessary conditions for a comfortable stay, in particular, a shower, separate toilets, beds and a restaurant car.

It is assumed that the wagons will provide temporary shelter for 150 to 200 people.

We will remind that the day before in Irpen on the territory of the "Dubky" health resort created the first tent city and adapted all the facilities of the sanatorium for temporary living.
