Disney, Warner Bros. Entertainment and Sony Pictures will stop the distribution and screening of films in Russia

A number of international film companies supported Ukraine in the fight against the occupier. In the Russian cultural space, the films of three well-known film studios will disappear from distribution, and the streaming platform Netflix will stop broadcasting federal Russian channels.

"In view of the unprovoked attack on Ukraine and the tragic humanitarian crisis, we are suspending the screening of films in Russia, including the upcoming screening of Pixar's I'm Blushing," - said Disney said in a statement.

Sony company said about stopping the screening of his films in Russia "given the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and the resulting uncertainty and humanitarian crisis unfolding in this region." 

In particular, Sony Pictures will cancel the March 24 premiere of the movie "Morbius" from Marvel comics.

Warner Bros. also refused to rent in Russia.

"In light of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine" the company canceled the release of the film "Batman" in Russian cinemas, - the CNBC with reference to the company's statement.
