The general director of the company noted that this decision was due to three crises: climate, energy security and the war caused by Russia against Ukraine.
"The new building technology campus we plan to build will make a positive contribution on all three fronts, supporting Ukraine as it rebuilds its economy, meeting demand in Central and Eastern Europe for energy-efficient buildings, and helping Europe reduce its dependence on oil and gas imports." - explained the CEO of the company.

The construction process will begin when appropriate safety conditions appear. It is planned to be completed in 5 years. Currently, Kingspan has formed a working group that will contact the Ukrainian government regarding the project, as well as search for a location for construction. The campus is likely to appear in western Ukraine.
It will produce modern insulation products and district heating solutions and provide more than 600 jobs.
It is worth noting that Kingspan is a world leader in the field of insulation and energy-efficient building solutions. The company has 198 factories around the world, where more than 19 thousand workers work.
