Thus, the station "Friendship of Peoples" can be renamed to "Botanical", "European", "Unity of Ukraine", "Zvirynetskaya" or "Heroes of Mariupol".
The most popular options for replacing the toponym "Lev Tolstoy Square" titles dedicated to Vasyl Stus, Stepan Bandera, Lesya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko and Lina Kostenko appeared.

"Beresteyska" station can change its name to "Buchanska", "Warshavska", "Mariupolska" or "Stepana Bandera". Among the suggestions is also to keep the previous name.
It is proposed to replace the toponym "Minska" with "Warshavska", "Mariupolska", "Vyshgorodska" or "Buchanska". And the station "Heroes of Dnipro" can be renamed to "Heroes of Mariupol", "Heroes of Ukraine", "Vyshgorodska" or "North".
As Viktor Braginskyi noted, among the proposals there were quite exotic options. In particular, "Minsk" was proposed to be called the station "Borshch", "Reactive Geese" and "Traktorna".
"Heroiv Dnipro" was seen by some survey participants as a "Names of Magister Yoda" or "Fluffy Cats" station.

It was proposed to rename "Beresteiska" to "Palyanitsa", and "Druzhby narodov" to "Bayraktarsk" or "Chornobaivska". By the way, among the options for "Heroes of the Dnipro" was also "Red viburnum".
The second stage of voting will last until May 9. After that, the obtained results will be sent to the professional commission on names. The final verdict will be delivered at a meeting of the Kyiv City Council.
