CANactions School will publish the book "Everyone Needs Housing" by Ursula Kleefish-Jobst in Ukrainian

"Everyone needs housing. Fair, social, accessible" by Ursula Kleefisch-Jobst, Peter Keddermann and Karen Jung - tsit will be the fourth bookа founded at the end of 2018 CANactions publishing house, which specializes in creating and distributing high-quality professional literature in the field of architecture and urban development. During this time, with the support of the community of philanthropists, such world bestsellers as "Cities for People" by Ian Gehl and "Four Walls and a Roof: The Complex Nature of a Simple Profession" by Rainir de Graaf were published in Ukrainian. The publication of "Pedestrian City Rules. 101 Steps to Creating Better Places" by the famous American urbanist Jeff Speck was made possible thanks to the raising of funds from the successful implementation of these editions.

BOOK "Everyone needs housing. Fair, social, affordable" offers a comprehensive overview of the topic of affordable housing, from the landmark models of the 1920s to the modern concepts of today. The authors focus on aspects of architectural and urban planning, legal framework conditions, financing issues and construction standards, as well as participants in the construction process. Expert essays highlight the problem of housing from different points of view, the solution of which is decisive for the social cohesion of our society.

According to good tradition, the presentation of the book will take place on 13th CANactions International Architecture Festival May 15-16, 2020 in Kyiv. Ursula Kleefisch-Jobst will visit Ukraine for the first time to present "Everyone Needs Housing".
