Such a service was proposed to be implemented by employees of the underground railway when the company organized a competition for the best initiative called Estació del Futur (Station of the Future).
Currently, within the framework of testing, nine special modular lockers have already been installed near the entrance of one of the stations. They will receive recovered energy that will be suitable for use.
In this way, boxes with "green" fuel will turn into full-fledged recharging points for electric cars, as well as other types of transport with electric motors, in particular, scooters, electric bicycles, gyroscooters, etc.

At the start of the project, students at Pompeu Fabra University, located near the station, will be able to test the service for free, while it will be available to the general public at a 50% discount. In the future, TMB plans to make the service paid.
