A paradise in one of the most picturesque natural parks of North Vietnam - the Vedana Resort resort complex. You can now enjoy gastronomic delights and local landscapes under the majestic bamboo dome designed for the restaurant by the studio Vo In Meaning Architects.

Lush valleys, karst caves, limestone cliffs, rice fields... These picturesque shots make up the landscape of Ninh Binh province, located in the northern part of Vietnam. Here is the oldest and largest national park in the country, Kukfyong with an area of 220 km. This primeval tropical forest is home to unique plants and animals listed in the Red Book. On the territory of the park you can see about 100 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 53 species of reptiles, 11 species of fish.

It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful place for recovery and enjoying harmony with nature than the resort complex Vedana Resort, built in the zone of the reserve. This heavenly peaceful corner with a stunning view of the lagoon and the mountains brings peace and tranquility. Daily spa procedures, healing air, yoga and gastronomic delights - this is the recipe for happiness for tourists tired of the hustle and bustle of the city.

The width of the dome is 18 meters, and the height is 16 meters

The Vedana restaurant is the central element of the complex and is more reminiscent of a majestic temple or a space for meditation than a place for public catering. The architecture of the restaurant is a dome-canopy, formed by analogy with a three-step traditional Vietnamese roof. Specialists of a local architectural studio came up with such a solution Vo trong nghia. The architects designed the structure of the dome from a natural material - bamboo. The dome, which is 18 meters wide and 16 meters high, is made as a complete structure assembled from 36 modules. The sun's rays, passing through a round hole in the top of the roof, create soft lighting and emphasize the beauty of the complex pattern of the structure.

The artificial lake that surrounds the restaurant is both a natural air conditioner, refreshing on a hot day, and a water tank used to irrigate the trees growing around.

In addition to the "bamboo restaurant", the Vo Trong Nghia Architects studio developed a master plan for the rest of the resort area with villas and bungalows above the lake located on its territory.
