This is the first such meeting of companies in Poland and probably the first in Europe, said Minister of Development and Technology of Poland Waldemar Buda.
He said that about 1200 Polish companies want to take part in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and the restoration of Polish exports to the Ukrainian state.
We are talking about enterprises in the construction sector, food, automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as consulting companies. About 800 of them have already participated in the forum.
"Today we have invited businessmen and we will discuss the barriers that already exist or may appear in connection with the resumption of economic activity between Poland and Ukraine in a sector-specific manner," Buda said.

The minister noted that it is not yet known when the restoration of the Ukrainian infrastructure will begin and how dynamically it will take place, but trade between the countries has already increased significantly.
"The first half of the year shows dynamic growth, even by several dozen percent. Compared to last year, it is even almost 100 percent. This shows that this sector, which actually collapsed on February 24, is starting to normalize today, although, of course, not in all sectors," he said.
The results of the forum should be concluded on September 22 in Rzeszów, where the Polish-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission will meet.
