Swiss photographer Luca Zanier allowed each of us to see the halls and rooms where the fates of countries and continents are decided.

For several years, Luka traveled around the world and photographed the headquarters of political parties, government offices and offices of global organizations, such as the Security Council and the UN General Assembly, the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe and the Council of Europe.

Hall of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, 2015 The building of the Palace of Europe was built in 1977 according to the project of the French architect Henri Bernard. The central column symbolizes a giant tree, the branches of which are spread over the hall

Penetrating into the holy of holies of political institutions, Luka tries to find a place of power and take a picture from an unusual angle - be it the chairman's chair or the main tribune.

Hall of the UN Security Council in New York, 2008. The UN headquarters complex was built in 1951. Le Corbusier participated in the development of the project concept

"Most of us know what these huge halls look like from the audience seats or from the press box, but only a few have seen the space from the speaker's point of view. I chose this position in the UN Security Council," says Luka.

The meeting hall of the headquarters of the Communist Party in Paris. The building was designed in 1985 by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. "This is the best of what these commas created" - this is how the mayor of Paris, Georges Pompidou, commented on the architecture of the building

The series "Corridors of Power" was exhibited in different cities, it was published in the form of a photo album. But we think that flipping through these photos today will not be superfluous. At least in order to momentarily put the entire burden of responsibility for global decisions on one's own shoulders.

Aula Bunker is the name of the building in Palermo where the first public trial against the mafia took place. The bunker was specially built for the unprecedented process in just 6 months. 475 mobsters simultaneously attended court sessions in barred rooms. The process lasted almost an hour - from February 1986 to December 1987
