The design of this line by designer Bethan Laura Wood was inspired by the collision of man-made and natural. The Super Fake collection is a study of the digital era, in which the two-dimensional image that instantly jumps into the feed of Instagram and other social networks collides with physical reality, creating a feeling of something unreal, unreal. These thoughts are also reflected in the name of the collection (fake in English - fake, fake).
The shape of the carpets and their patterns are borrowed from different types of rocks. This is not strict geometry, but something close to the natural environment. Moreover, each layer of the carpet is made in different traditional techniques of Tibetan craftsmen.

Rocks and crystals symbolize the immovability of physical reality. After all, when something is "carved in stone", it is forever. At the same time, the designer places such a three-dimensional world on the plane of the carpet, creating a connection between the virtual and the real. Thus, with this series, Bethan hopes to maintain constancy in our changing world.
The official partner of the cc-tapis company in Ukraine is the MIRS corporation. Super Fake carpets are presented in the "Project 900" showroom, which is located in the "Domosfera" shopping center in Kyiv.
