The famous British designer Kelly Hoppen designed the interiors for the elite Kyiv residential complex Linden Luxury Residence. PRAGMATIKA.MEDIA found out what private residences and common areas will look like.

The Linden Luxury Residence premium-class residential complex is being built in the very center of Kyiv, on Lypki, at 14 Luteranskaya Street. The developer of the Budhouse Group project positions it as "the only house under construction with living space in the government quarter of the capital."

The 14-story complex was designed by the architectural workshop "A. Pashenko". The building includes residential areas (140 apartments), commercial premises, underground parking (257 parking spaces), a green area on the roof, a restaurant and a lounge with a bar. The cheapest apartment in a premium new building (for one bedroom), according to the LUN portal, will cost a little more than 9 million hryvnias, for two-level apartments you will have to pay more than 70 million.

Budhouse Group decided to invite a world-renowned designer to create the interiors of the apartments in the Residential Complex. The choice fell on Kelly Hoppen and her company Kelly Hoppen Interiors.

Kelly Hoppen is considered one of the most influential designers in Great Britain, among her clients are the royal family, Hillary Clinton, Elton John and the Beckham couple. She designed private residences, yachts and airplanes, and also implemented commercial projects, including hotels and restaurants. In addition, the designer produces furniture and home decor under his own brand. And, by the way, Kelly has collaborated with development companies more than once before, decorating turnkey apartments.

Hoppen's corporate style was called "neutral luxury". It is a combination of clean, clear lines of the East and luxurious textures of the West, superimposed on neutral tones. Kelly Hoppen's favorite color, without which none of her projects are complete, is taupe (from the French taupe - mole), a mixture of gray and brown. "This is such a beautiful color, not too warm and not too cold. Taupe is calm, quiet, and very easy to live with. He does not suppress, does not shout and does not demand attention. For this reason, taupe is ideal for bringing a sense of calm to a room. This is an ideal color for treating stress from the crazy pace of modern life," explains Hoppen herself.

Kelly Hoppen Interiors entrusted all common areas of Linden Luxury Residence (lobbies, corridors, elevator halls, restaurant, etc.). In addition, the company developed the schematic design of typical apartments and the working design of three showrooms. As showrooms, the customer chose apartments with one (80 sq. m), two (150 sq. m) and three (215 sq. m) bedrooms. The first apartment is designed for a temporary stay of one person, the second - for a family with one child, the third - for a large family.

"Our wish was to create truly modern luxury interiors, corresponding to the highest-class house in Kyiv, but at the same time corresponding to modern design," Budhouse Group Commercial Director Maksym Havryushin explained in a comment to PRAGMATIKA.MEDIA. - At the first stage, we were offered two options for the development of the project. One is more minimalistic, the second is more classical. We chose a more classic version of Kella's "neutral luxury" style, because we thought it better suited our mentality."

The interiors of Linden Luxury Residence show the characteristic features of Kelly Hoppen's style - simple lines and shapes, a neutral palette that evokes a feeling of lightness and purity, as well as the use of natural materials (marble, wood, gold metal), which emphasize the richness of the environment.

One of the key roles in the interior design of Linden Luxury Residence, according to the developer, is given to lighting, which is being worked on by the London team with extensive international experience of Elektralighting.

The stage of schematic design of apartments and common areas of Linden Luxury Residence took about 6-7 months. At the beginning of the year, Budhouse Group began the stage of working design, which, according to the developer, will end in July. The house itself is planned to be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2019.
