It is impossible to imagine Venice without "mooring dolphins" bricolas - symbols and pillars of the city. After many years of service, exposure to water, vegetation and microorganisms, each brick is a unique material of its kind. But working with briccola is a real challenge for the craftsman: it is a fragile porous wood, only 30% of which can be used.
