On November 23, the international conference "Creative Economy Days 2018. The power of players" dedicated to the ecosystem of creative industries opens in Lviv. In our country, they are still in the formative stage, so the main goal of the forum organizers is to promote the formation of a broad market with links in value chains — with healthy competition, different work models and a developed ecosystem. And more specifically, in eliminating the lack of interaction between a number of these very links: for example, the absence of agencies that develop and help promote design solutions, fablabs where designers could implement the intended concept.

Creative Economy Days 2018 interesting, first of all, to industrial designers and clothing designers, as well as creative agencies and companies producing furniture, interior items, packaging and FMCG.

As part of the event, there will be 4 workshops devoted to current issues in the field of object design and the fashion industry. So Adam Wesley-Swischynski from AWS design will talk about pricing for designers and the formation of the cost of industrial design services. The meeting by Louise Haazen from Verhaert and Jonathan de Klerk from YOURDEW will be devoted to the topic: "Business-oriented object design: from ideas to business strategy". Mark Terberg, representing the Dutch Fashion Foundation, will talk about the DNA of a fashion brand, and those who are interested in models and the possibilities of financing designers should visit the workshop of John Holmes from Advantage Creative.

In addition, guests can expect a whole series of discussion panels with well-known representatives of creative industries who will share their personal experience and their success stories. For example, the organizers of Ukrainian collective stands at Maison & Objet and Paris Design Week Anastasiya Beletskaya and Sana Shevchenko will discuss the topic "Interaction along the value chain", including push-and-pull strategy in the context of creative industries and such a tool as design sprint. Panels are also planned with the general director of the Jhiva brand, Tatyana Chirkoy, the CEO of the HIS platform, Oleg Klymenko, and the PR director of the largest platform of Ukrainian brands, Vsy. Tatyana Fyshchuk, the founder of the chain of salons "100% interior" and the Ukrainian furniture brand FIRST FAMILY, architect Vitaly Ivakhov and a number of other notable speakers.
