Jesus Chamizo's photographs are based on the emotions that space evokes with the help of lines, angles, light, perspective and forms. The Spanish photographer works in different genres, but he received the greatest recognition thanks to the cycles of architectural photographs. For his photos from the Glass Memories and Geometrical series, Jesus Chamizo was awarded several awards at the prestigious International Photography Awards (IPA) 2018.

Jesús Chamizo was born in Madrid in 1961. From an early age he was associated with fine art, studied at several schools of photography between 1977 and 1980. His first exhibition took place when Chamizo was 19 years old. Jesus worked as a photographer in advertising agencies and shot for well-known global brands, mainly automotive (BMW, Chrysler, Honda, Renault, Rover, Opel, Peugeot, SEAT, Toyota, Mitsubishi and others). However, in recent years he has focused on landscape and architectural photography.

"For many years, my passion for photography forced me to explore various areas, to look for ways and forms of expression. Finally, this passion united with architecture and resulted in the creation of images that are different from real ones, images that transform known spaces and forms," ​​says the artist.

Jesus Chamizo publishes his photo works in a limited edition (up to 10 copies). Meter canvases cost on average 2-3 thousand. euro.

In the Geometrical series, Jesus Chamizo explores geometry: from architecture, which itself consists of figures, the photo artist creates new geometric forms.
